Probably the most iconic model Smith & Rune keyboard, the Iron 165 polycarbonate version is a stunner to look at. I feel that the keycapset GMK Norse is a match made in heaven for this board.

Even though this keyboard is beautifully machined, the fragility of the polycarbonate makes rebuilding this keyboard many times a tricky prospect. The screwholes do not have brass inserts, so every disassembly and assembly is wearing out the polycarbonate.

Having said that, I’m happy with the current build of Alpaca switches and GMK Norse keycaps.
